RARE! Antique Wooden 2-box Telephone. Circa 1895. The maker's name on the back of the transmitter is "The Northern Electric and Manufacturing Company Limited. Montreal". The mouthpiece on the transmitter is a new one. The rest of this phone is all original. The original staining on the wood is still intact and is showing it's age in some places, but that's to be expected on a piece this old. The magneto inside the top box is good and the bells still work when the handle is cranked. Wiring inside is still in good condition and the original wiring diagram is still attached to the inside of the door. The transmitter arm is missing some black paint due to age. Phone measures 32" tall x 8" wide. This would make a nice addition to your bar, recreation room or antique collection. This is a RARE piece! Price is $650.00 Cdn.
